J.Design & Decor is the studio founded by Evgenia Smolyaninova, interior designer based in northern Italy. Projects run across Milan, Como, Lake Como, Bergamo and Bologna, for international homeowners living in Italy or planning to relocate here. We work in three languages: English, Italian and Russian.
What makes an interior feel expensive is rarely the price of the individual pieces. It is coherence — proportion, light, colour, materials, and the absence of visual noise.
How the work is done
Every project begins with the plan and ends on the building site. Between the two there are drawings, elevations, visualisations and material samples tried in the actual light of the rooms; suppliers to coordinate and deliveries to check one by one. The studio handles that process itself, rather than handing it back to the client in pieces.
