Interiors that speak of the people who live in them
Interior design studio on Lake Como and in Milan: design, bespoke furnishing and site supervision.
J Design & Decor is an interior design studio based in Milan, working across northern Italy — Milan, Como, Lake Como and Bergamo. We design homes for people who live in Italy or are moving here: from the first survey to the working drawings, from sourcing every piece to supervising the site, until the keys change hands. We work in English, Italian and Russian.
Selected projects
From first survey to handover
Survey and design
From measuring the space to the working drawings: layout, light, materials and the technical sheets the contractors build from.
Furnishing and pieces
Selecting and supplying furniture, fabrics and finishes, with orders, lead times and deliveries kept under control.
Site supervision
Coordinating the trades and checking the site week by week, so the result matches the drawings.
Decoration and staging
The final layer: styling the rooms to live in straight away, or to show at their best for sale and rental.
