Kitchen

The island carries a black stone top veined in copper, with the hob set flush and a wine cabinet built into the side. Behind it, tall units in dark oak hold the ovens and the coffee machine; the working wall keeps sink, tap and glassware on open shelves lit from above, so the surfaces stay clear.

Living and dining

A bouclé sofa faces the glazed wall and the terrace; opposite, a black bookcase with smoked glass doors and a marble back panel. The dining table continues the island in solid dark timber, under a cluster of gilded pendant lights.

Materials

Dark oak and black stone inside, oak flooring underfoot, leather on the stools and the armchair, bouclé on the sofa. The palette stays deliberately quiet: the colour comes through the glazing, from the lake and the mountains behind it.

Pool and terrace

Outside, the garden steps down to a pool terrace held by a dry-stone wall. Grey stone paving, woven outdoor furniture in pale blue and a cantilever umbrella keep the palette quiet, so the lake can take over. At night the pool is lit from within.
